Description
Scope of use of water floats
Water floats are often used in evaporative air coolers, domestic water tanks, water towers, cooling towers, ice machines, humidifiers and water purifiers. Incubators in the livestock industry also commonly use water floats to control water levels.
The evaporative air cooler water floater plays a role in the cooling system. Using a simple principle, people do not have to manually add water to each air cooler. People also don’t have to worry about the amount of water exceeding the maximum water level of the tank.
The working principle of the air cooler water float
Water floats are based on the buoyancy of the water to control the water ingress or water stoppage. As the amount of water increases or decreases, the float moves up and down.
When the amount of water reaches the set water level, the float holds against the corresponding position. The connecting rod drives the plunger, and the silicone seal blocks the water inlet. At this point, the valve body stops flooding.
When the amount of water in the sink decreases, the float falls. The water inlet is not blocked, and the valve body returns to the state of water intake.
